About

Athul Ravunniarath is a Director at Stax. Athul has nearly a decade of experience advising TMT-focused private equity firms on commercial due diligence and growth strategies. ​​

Athul leads software and technology at Stax, supporting private equity sponsors across the size spectrum with due diligence and strategy engagements. In addition, Athul also supports portfolio companies with value creation initiatives spanning market expansion and prioritization opportunities, new product development, and go-to-market strategy development. ​​

Athul joined Stax in 2016 and rejoined the firm in 2021 after two years at Altman Solon (previously Altman Vilandrie and Company), where he served as a Senior Consultant focusing on TMT engagements.​​



Prior to joining Stax, Athul worked in equity research at Morningstar and as a consultant for numerous impact investment firms focusing on energy and financial services. Athul holds a Masters in International Finance and Development Economics from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a B.A. in Government and Economics from Colby College. ​

Athul is a big fan of squash and can often be found on the courts near the Stax Boston office at 7 am.
