About

Jayson Traxler is CEO of Stax. Traxler joined Stax in 2021, initially taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer, later being appointed as President in 2022, and subsequently assuming the position of CEO in 2023.

He brings over 20 years of experience as a strategic finance executive and guiding companies through transformation. In addition, he has a consistent record of achieving dramatic increases in cash flow, profitability, and shareholder value through value-accretive inorganic and organic growth and transformation programs.

Recently, he was on the senior leadership team at the global governance, risk, and compliance firm K2 Integrity, where he led strategy, capital raising, M&A, and corporate investment.

Prior to K2, Traxler was the Director of Investments and Strategic Finance at the global consulting firm AlixPartners, where he created and led the corporate development, M&A, investment, strategy, and procurement functions. He also played an instrumental role in AlixPartners’ $2.5+ billion investment recapitalization from CVC to CDPQ, PSP, and Investcorp.

In addition to his professional services expertise, his diverse experience also includes roles as a private equity-backed Chief Financial Officer, management consultant, private equity investor, and investment banker.

Traxler graduated from The College of William & Mary, magna cum laude and holds an MBA from Kellogg. He has also attended Harvard Business School’s Leading Professional Services Firms executive education program where he focused on human capital management.

Extracurricular

Jayson kind of has a thing for time travel. Not only does he enjoy 80’s movies (including his all-time favorite, “Back to the Future”) but he’s starting to think it might be real… He’s a little suspicious of his two children, who seem to be up growing up way too fast.
