Before joining Stax, Joe successfully ran his own marketing consulting firm, specializing in delivering data-driven marketing solutions for B2B FinTech firms. His expertise encompassed a wide range of areas, including buy and sell-side order management solutions, portfolio and risk solutions, event management for the alternative asset industry, and real-time market data solutions.
Joe’s career began at Bloomberg, where he spent over sixteen years in various marketing and sales roles. In his most recent position as Global Marketing Manager, he was responsible for developing and implementing the global marketing plan and strategy to support Bloomberg’s buy-side order management solution. Prior to that role, he served as a Marketing Program Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of integrated marketing communications programs for Bloomberg Trading Solutions buy and sell-side order management businesses. Joe initially started his career at Bloomberg as an Account Manager, where he successfully managed and expanded relationships with hedge funds and foreign banks.
Brownell graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish.
