About

Will Barden is a Director at Stax in our Boston office. Will joined Stax in 2022 with over 15 years of experience advising private equity firms and corporate executives on commercial due diligence and growth strategies. His career spans strategy consulting, private equity consulting, and investment banking. ​​

Will covers Stax’s investment banking relationships, actively managing and cultivating senior relationships across investment banks globally. Will also leads a variety of client engagements across commercial due diligence and sell-side engagements and strategy formation. His experience spans multiple industries with a focus on software, business, and industrial services. ​

Prior to joining Stax, Will worked in strategy consulting at EY-Parthenon and at Liberty Mutual. Will started his career in investment banking at William Blair. Will holds an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.​​

Extracurricular

Beyond work, Will cherishes every moment spent with his wife and four children, who keep him busy. In his limited free time, he indulges in activities like tennis, golf, writing books, and passionately supporting his beloved Chicago Cubs.
